The island of Noirmoutier is such a jewel that it's hard to resist. If you want to get there, you have 2 options: the bridge (fairly common in fact) or the famous Gois passage. This very typical passage is a unique and mythical place. At low tide, a road opens up to allow vehicles to pass between Beauvoir sur Mer and Noirmoutier.
